I'm not sure how exactly but I misplaced my phone this afternoon.
I thought I felt it bulge in my pocket, it was too broad for it, so I slipped it into my purse.
Only moments later, it wasn't there. I either dropped it when I slipped it in (or thought I did),
Someone else picked it up.
Or it is misplaced in the cab.
My phone is on airplane mode right now.
I am not sure how to reach it.
Feeling really disappointed but warmed by a few friends who tried to help, and are kind.
I feel so sad, like I lost a dear companion or friend.
It's strange I know, complex, perhaps, the relationship we share with such objects
And yet I am sure, I will dip into my savings to buy this model again if it isn't returned to me.
Please let me find it
I believe you are coming home
But I tried being normal, and distracting myself
But I can't forget
Why was I so careless?
How could I have lost what my father bought me?
Why couldn't I be more alert?
I know this is a lesson.
Please come back home.
I'll be a better friend, and keeper.

Salad Sally

Salad recipe (which might not be so healthy):

INTRODUCTION: So I have been making this since I was in ninth grade... Threw in the ingredients rather randomly, but it always tastes good in my mouth. Don't eat too much, if too spicy etc.

INGREDIENTS:

- Onion (Chopped)

- Two tomatoes (Chopped)

- A clove of garlic (Smash it with salt with the flat side of the knife's blade to release the juices, and make it edible whilst still raw, etc.)

- Chilli (Green)

- A tbsp of Soya Sauce (Kikkoman is good)

- A dash of Tabasco or Crystal Hot Sauce (A little more if you like it spicy.)

- 2 tbsp of Olive Oil

- Lukewarm water (2tbsps)

- Salt

- Pepper

EXTRAS (That weren't part of my original recipe): Cucumber, American corn, sliced radish, a pinch of sugar, Oyster sauce (if not allergic to it) etc.

RECIPE: Throw it all together, and mix-mix-mix-mix!

Imaginary friends, hello!

I am 29! I had a birthday four days ago, and it was quite sweet. I spent the day with my family (Minila, too), ate merrily, wore something oceanic (my bhane. midi dress and Promod denim jacket with some Accessorize and shop lune lovelies, some new gladiator sandal flats, etc.) and just had a good time laughing and acting foolish.

I missed maya and nina being around because they always are around on the 15th but I guess they were busy. Ah, birthdays, when you're older! They're good to dwell on, be lonely or share with. My favourite callers called! Ashu + Marie. ❤ Minila made me a deliciousssss oceanic-themed birthday cake. It was so good! Ooh, and Sonaksha, my littlest, newest, most talented and very sweet friend presented me with a lovely Harry Potter book set (the library books - the Quidditch book, FBAWTFT, and the book of tales) - she should not have. But I do love it so much already! Grateful for all the love. Non-sexual love is goooood.

Oh, and I went to Chennai and Pondicherry on the 11th - I actually wanted to spend my birthday completely alone in a different, new place and in a sense, I did, I suppose... I was there for about a day and a half. While the trip was quite sudden - I planned it a long time ago, but I did my research only some two weeks before, booked my tickets a week prior to my departure but it all turned out okay ultimately.

Not that a lot of people read what I write here because this blog is supposedly private, however I'll make it public as soon as I publish this. I mean, who really cares anyway? Life is short. If the internet is the medium I choose to express myself then I shouldn't be hiding who I am here too. How are you doing?

I'll admit that 2015 has been rather weird but pretty wonderful too. December went by, in a breeze but the rest of the year seemed to move at its own pace, it matched my own in ways? It was good, it was bad, but I do miss 2015 already. Truly! I'm going to be 29 years old, this year, and it's not worrying but it does get me a bit nervous+excited. It doesn't mean much. Age is but a number, after all.

I wish you the best of the best! Do it all. Nothing like a new year to pump you up with good energy to motivate you to move forward... Shalom.
